Tarantula in Your Tool Belt

Skinned flowers dance naked

as the night comes. Things ooze

here more than they crawl. Perfume

is a wrench, death is that

tarantula in your tool belt

and it is God who

blows raspberries

as you laugh, dying

and your body floats out

in every direction

but one.
