Jack Dunnett is a contemporary Scottish painter working primarily with oil paint on an intimate scale. Frequently depicting uneasy figures within ambiguous settings, Dunnett uses his own shorthand of household materials combined with traditional painting mediums to pit consideration, formality and tradition against expression, chaos and chance.
