Dagger Fingers

Christina Daniel is a mixed media artist and freelance graphic designer currently based in Chicago, Illinois. Her illustration project known as Dagger Fingers has collaborated with printers and artists across the nation. Her work is inspired by a culmination of elements of the natural world, mental health, and how coexisting with native botanical species can provide a pause for personal introspection. Last year her solo exhibition, Piece of Mind, featured a series of 120 mixed media pieces at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment - the largest privately owned arts facility in the United States. In 2013 Christina attended Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts for sculptural needlepoint felting, a skill she later implemented in the sculptural installation pieces of her BFA exhibition. She received her BFA in Graphic Design and Sculpture from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013. You can view her illustration at @daggerfingers on instagram and her design at christinadaniel.net.
