Gasher Journal is no longer a digital journal. In 2023, we shifted to an annual themed print issue of the journal. Submissions for the issue are open April-July every year.

We accept unsolicited manuscripts twice a year March-May and September-November. Our chapbooks open whenever we feel like it. Please, do not send manuscripts to us outside of our submissions period. We only accept submissions through our Submittable.

Authors receive 20 free copies upon publication. We pay 30% royalties. Our books are available via our website, SPD Books, and select independent bookstores. We participate in several book festivals We do not provide stipends for touring…Yet!

Authors receive 10 free copies upon publication. We pay 40% royalties after 100 units sold. Our books are perfect-bound, 12pt C1S matte cover stock, and #60 text cream. Virtual reading launch and interview over at Gasher Journal among other promotional activities that become available.
