Gasher Journal is no longer a digital journal. In 2023, we shifted to an annual themed print issue of the journal. Submissions for the issue are open April-July every year.

We accept unsolicited manuscripts twice a year March-May and September-November. Our chapbooks open whenever we feel like it. Please, do not send manuscripts to us outside of our submissions period. We only accept submissions through our Submittable.

• Authors receive 20 free copies upon publication. We pay 30% royalties. • Our books are available via our website, SPD Books, and select independent bookstores. • We participate in several book festivals • We do not provide stipends for touring…Yet!

• Authors receive 10 free copies upon publication. We pay 40% royalties after 100 units sold. • Our books are perfect-bound, 12pt C1S matte cover stock, and #60 text cream. • Virtual reading launch and interview over at Gasher Journal among other promotional activities that become available.
